APOTEK K-24 HOLDS HEALTH SEMINAR FOR FREE "REVEALING THE SECRET OF MANGOSTEEN PEEL TO PREVENT AND HEAL DEGENERATIVE DISEASES (DIABETES, HEART DISEASE, STROKE, CANCER, ETC.)
Saturday (13/06/15) in order to celebrate the 70th anniversary of SKH Kedaulatan Rakyat (KR), Apotek K-24 partnered with Obat24.com and KR held health seminar for free with the topic “Revealing the Secret of Mangosteen Peel to Prevent and Heal Degenerative Diseases (Diabetes, Heart Disease, Stroke, Cancer, etc). Located in the hall of Kedaulatan Rakyat, Jl. Margo Utomo 40 – 46 Yogyakarta, the event which was attended by hundreds participant was divided to two session. The first session was started from 10.00 - 12.00 WIB and the second session was 13.00 - 15.00 WIB.
This seminar invited two professional speakers, Dr. Raffi Paramawati, Msi (a food technologist and the expert researcher of mangosteen skin) and dr. Kumoro Adiatmo (the consultant of PT. Herbanin, a doctor from PT. HM. Sampoerna and Bhayangkara Hospital, East Java). In this event, the 50 lucky participants would get free herbal supplements made of the extract of mangosteen peel Xantonin for free, worth the total Rp. 4.250.000,00.
The seminar was opened by the production director of KR, Baskoro Jati Prabowo. In his speech, Baskoro stated that this health seminar was a form of attention from KR to people’s health, especially Yogyakarta resident, in line with KR’s tagline, “migunaning tumpraping liyan” or “useful for others”.
The next speech was delivered by dr. Gideon Hartono (the Chairman of PT. K-24 Indonesia). He said that disease case in the world had faced shifting from infectious disease to non-infectious disease. Non-infectious disease in general is caused by the reduction function of body organ because of lifestyle and aging (degenerative disease)
To prevent and resolve degenerative disease, Apotek K-24 supports the use of herbal medicine. It is simply because Indonesia is rich of herbal and traditional medicine. One of the biodiversity which is commonly used for medication since hundred years ago is mangosteen peel.
