PT. K-24 INDONESIA HOSTS PUBLIC LECTURING FOR THE CANDIDATES OF OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (MDP) BATCH 8

Tuesday (4/06/15) located in Hall of 2nd floor at K-24 Academy, PT K-24 Indonesia hosted public lecturing for 10 members of Operational Management Development Program (MDP) batch 8. This activity was also joined by several new associates of K-24 from various divisions, who never joined such activity.


The public lecturing was held at 08.00 - 12.30 WIB. It aimed to introduce PT. K-24 Indonesia (the franchisor of Apotek K-24) from the point of view of the founder, dr. Gideon Hartono (the Chairman of PT. K-24 Indonesia) who has successfully build Apotek K-24 retail pharmacy. This activity is routinely held whenever there is new MDP recruitment.


This year’s MDP public lecturing was opened with the speech from Ari Widhiarso (ROM Central) and embedded name tag on each of the participant of MPD batch 8. The next schedule was lecture delivering about several things related to PT. K-24 Indonesia by dr. Gideon, such as the background, vision and mission, brand philosophy, his experience in starting and running his business. the development of franchise pharmacy business in Indonesia, achievements of Apotek K-24, and also success secret to achieve goals and dreams. In the end of lecturing, there was a question session related to the delivered lecture in order to know how far the participants understand.


MDP is a program that develops human resources which is built to support the operational division (MDP Operation) and franchise sales (MDP sales) of PT. K-24 Indonesia. This support is to fulfill the need of professional and skilled Area Manager (AM) and Sales Manager.


Until June 2015, PT. K-24 Indonesia has recruited 8 batches of MDP (there are 42 area manager in totals since batch 1 to 7 of MDP). The benefit of this program is to shorten the long career path. Therefore, it is very suitable for those who want fast track in carrier . For the company, with MDP, it can meet the need of managerial position with skill and professionalism quickly along with the business development, without to wait career promotion from human resources department.


From MDP public lecturing, dr, Gideon also reminded the participants that they are the candidates of company leaders in the future. The future is not the upcoming time but it starts from now on. That is why, in order to be a good Area Manager, they have to learn to be a leader and subordinate with 3K, which are character, commitment, and competence.
