APOTEK K-24 WINS INDONESIA FRANCHISE AWARD 2016

By the end of 2016, Apotek K-24 got brilliant achievement again. This largest Franchise Pharmacy Network in Indonesia achieved award for the category Waralaba Utama Indonesia (Indonesia Primary Franchise) during Indonesia Franchise Award held by Ministry of Trade of Indonesia in Jakarta Convention Center, 25-27 November 2016.

Indonesia Franchise Award was given by the president of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo during World Franchise Summit Indonesia (WFSI) 2016, an international event of franchise business.

The founder of Apotek K-24, dr. Gideon Hartono said that this award was very special and gratifying because it was directly given by the president of Indonesia. Besides, it was the first time for Apotek K-24 to accept such award.

The selection process of PWI  had started since 6 months ago. The selection itself is divided to several steps: socialization and registration, evaluation and direct verification at the he Head Office of Apotek K-24 in Yogyakarta, and also scoring and judging.

For Apotek K-24, this achievement is a form of support given by the government so that it can be always developed across Indonesia.

Apotek K-24 now has launched more than 350 outlets in 24 provinces and 101 regencies and cities in Indonesia. It serves more than 3 million patients every month and hires more than 4000 employees.

The marketing manager of Apotek K-24 revealed that Indonesia Franchise Award was given to franchise entrepreneurs in Indonesia in five categories: Waralaba Pratama (Main Franchise), Waralaba Utama (Primary Franchise), Franchisee, Indonesia Global Franchise, and International Franchise.

In the category Waralaba Utama (Primary Franchise) the first winner was PT. Indomarco Prismatama Tbk with Indomaret brand, second winner was PT. K-24 Indonesia with Apotek K-24 brand, and the third winner was PT. Coffee Toffee Indonesia with Coffee Toffee brand.

On the other hand, in the Franchisee category, Apotek K-24 Rawamangun Jakarta had won the finalist title.
