Yogyakarta - About 3000 elderly will set five records of Indonesia World Record Museum (MURI) at once in the Kridosono Stadium, Yogyakarta, Sunday (30/12). Thousands of elderly will be coordinated by the Department of Health (Dinas Kesehatan) Yogyakarta, along with Apotek K-24 and Hi-Lab Yogyakarta. That event is a program from the Department of Health Yogyakarta to celebrate the 43rd National Health Day. The elderly who will take part in this event is both men and women who age 55 year old or above in Yogyakarta, and coordinated by 18 Community Health Centre (Puskesmas) in Yogyakarta. According to the owner of Apotek K-24, dr Gideon Hartono, the five MURI records will be set by the elderly are, The Most Elderly Women Participants (more than 200 participants) in Elderly Gymnastics, The Most Participants (more than 3000 participants) and The Fastest Blood Checking, The Most Participants (more than 2000 participants) Routine Blood Checking, The Most Participants (more than 3000 participants) for Glucose Checking, and the first Clinic Laboratory in which the result can be accessed by SMS and internet. Meanwhile, according to Choirul Anwar, the preparation of breaking MURI record is ready, by involving 3000 elderly. “There are 18 Community Health Centre (Puskesmas) in Yogyakarta that joined this event. From the elderly community, we invite 334 elderly communities from 14 districts in Yogyakarta,” Choirul explained in the building of Hi-Lab Yogyakarta, Friday (28/12/2007) morning. MURI record breaking is planned to be opened by the major of Yogyakarta, Herry Zudianto. Meanwhile, the awarding of MURI record will be done by the director of MURI, Paulus Pangka to the major of Yogyakarta and dr. Gideon Hartono as the director of PT Hi-Lab International.
