Denpasar: Apotek K-24 targets to open 50 or 70 more outlets this year. Until now, there are already 300 outlets which are spread accross Indonesia.
The chairman of PT. K-24 Indonesia as the copyright owner of Apotek K-24 franchise business, Gideon Hartono, said that the demand of health service in Indonesia is getting higher.
‘The motivation to establish Apotek K-24 is to serve customers from the middle to middle-low class to get original medicine with affordable price,” he stated on Sunday (24/6)
Besides, Apotek K-24 is also the pioneer of Indonesian pharmacy which is franchised and opened for 24 hours non stop. His team also provides delivery service for various medicine, such as generic to doctors’ prescription, free pharmacist consultation and the most important is all medicines have the same price during the day or night.
“K-24 is basically an abbreviation of Komplit Obat 24 Jam (Complete medicine for 24 hours). We want to serve customers who find it hard to get medicine during the day or night, or even when holiday,” he said during the Grand Opening of 29 outlets which was centered in Bali.
For Bali outlets, Hartono said that with the need of 400 pharmacies, Apotek K-24 only targeted to open 30 to 40 outlets. He also said that this franchise investment costs only about Rp. 750 millions, and the turnover will need only 3 years.
Right now, in Bali there are only 8 outlets which are located in Jl. Teuku Umar, Jl, Sesetan, Monang Maning, Dalung, Uluwatu, Tabanan and Jl. Ahmad Yani Singaraja,” he said.
The grand opening is enlivened with several activities such as blood donation for high school students, free blood sugar checkup for 200 persons, motorcycle parade for the local residents wearing Bali traditional dress, Apotek K-24 Jingle singing competition, and photo competition with the object of motorcycle parade for the local residents wearing Bali traditional dress.
