APOTEK K-24 HOLDS BLOOD DONATION DURING GRAND OPENING EVENT

Apotek K-24 is the first franchised pharmacy from Indonesia. Since its establishment in 2002, the number of Apotek K-24 keeps developing quickly until 300 outlets in all over Indonesia, from Aceh to Merauke. Apotek K-24 was established by dr. Gideon Hartono, a doctor who is inspired by his personal experience which was hard to find pharmacist during the night or holiday, therefore he established Apotek K-24 that opens for 24/7 all day all year.

The price labeled on the medicine is always the same, either it is day or night. In order to stabilize the existence of Apotek K-24 as a form of service to Indonesian people, PT. K-24 Indonesia as the franchisor (brand owner) held a simultaneous grand opening for 29 new outlets which was centered in Denpasar, Bali.

Bali was chosen because it is the icon of Indonesia and the local residents of Bali are multicultural, which can be seen as the mini Indonesia, consisted of various tribes and religions. The other reason is because the residents of Bali are very unified, so that there were so many big events held in Bali got support from the local people.

This grand opening event included several activities such as blood donation which was a collaboration with PMI (Indonesia Red Cross), and it was held in all Apotek K-24 outlets in Bali such as Apotek K-24 Jl. Teuku Umar, Apotek K-24 Jl. Raya Sesetan, Apotek K-24 Monang Maning, Apotek K-24 Dalung, Apotek K-24 Uluwatu, Apotek K-24 Tabanan, and also Apotek K-24 Jl.Ahmad Yani Singaraja.

It is similar to the spirit of PMI which targeted Blood Donation to be a life style. That is why Apotek K-24 wants to participate. It is expected from the people to donate their blood, as stated by Isnantyo Widodo as the head committee of the Grand Opening event.

This Grand Opening event was held to show people the concern from Apotek K-24 for people by helping to arrange positive events, and also to show the existence of Apotek K-24 that keeps serving people for 24/7.
